The Classic Manhattan

The Manhattan

2oz rye whiskey
1oz sweet red vermouth
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 Maraschino cherry

  1. Fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add whiskey, sweet vermouth and bitters
  3. Stir for 90 seconds & strain into a martini glass & garnish with a single cherry

3 ounces good-quality gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
Ice Cubes
Pimento-stuffed green olives or
Lemon Twist

  1. Chill martini glasses in the freezer for 1 hour prior to making the cocktail.
  2. Place 7 to 8 ice cubes in a metal cocktail shaker.
  3. Pour gin and vermouth into the cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Either shake or stir until cold (your choice) at least 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a chilled martini cocktail glass. Serve straight up  & garnish with either a couple of olives or a lemon twist

Old-Fashioned

2oz bourbon or rye
1/3 oz rich simple syrup
2-3 dashes of angostura bitters
Garnish: ​orange peel & maraschino cherry ​

  1. Combine whiskey, syrup, and bitters in a tall glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir 20-30 seconds, strain into a whiskey glass and garnish with orange peel.

The Marguerita

1 ½ oz. tequila (a reposado 100% agave nothing less)
1 ½ oz. triple sec or Cointreau
1 to 1 ¼ oz. of lime juice
Salt for the rim of the glass

  1. Shake all the ingredients with cracked ice in a cocktail shaker until the exterior frosts.
  2. Strain into a glass over rocks, or “up” into a cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a slice of lime

The Perfect Negroni

1 oz. London dry gin
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. vermouth rosso

  1. Add the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake well with cracked ice.
  3. Strain into a glass over cubed ice.
  4. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.

Classic Whiskey Sour

Whiskey Sour

2 ounces bourbon whiskey
1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
3/4 ounce simple syrup
1 egg white from a small to medium egg
Ice
1 maraschino cherry

  1. Place the bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker. Do not add the ice at this time
  2. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. This will thoroughly incorporate the egg white
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for 7 to 10 seconds
  4. Strain the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer into a coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a maraschino cherry & serve

Daquiri

The Daquiri

2 oz White rum
¾ oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
¾ oz Simple syrup

  1. Combine all ingredients in shaker tin
    Ice small shaker tin.
  2. Shake vigorously, until tin is frosted over.
  3. Strain into chilled cocktail glass
  4. Garnish with lime wedge and enjoy.

The Mojito

2 oz White Rum
1 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
9 Mint leaves
Soda water

  1. Muddle mint into glass
  2. Combine remaining ingredients the glass.
  3. Add crushed ice.
  4. Top off the glass with soda water
  5. Garnish with mints

Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary

2 oz Vodka
5 oz Tomato juice
1/2 oz Fresh lemon Juice
½ oz Worcestershire
2 dash of Tabasco Sauce
1 Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
1 Pinch of celery salt

  1. Combine all ingredients in highball glass. Stir thoroughly
  2. Add ice.
  3. Garnish with celery stalk
